This year Thanksgiving for my family was pretty small. I think we had only 15 (not including the 4 little kiddos) people. YES, I said that was small. We have had as many as 23 adults in other years so 8 less makes things a lot easier! My sister Debbie and I split up the cooking. I did carrots and zucchini, candied yams, green bean casserole and tamales. This was my first go round and I made “mini” tamales and I was proud of them… My technique for wrapping may need some tweaking but the taste was spot on (me patting myself on my back).
After I prepped the above, I showered, got cutified and headed to my sister Debbies. What a fun day we had. We spent time visiting, laughing, taking pictures and dancing. I picked up Just Dance for the Wii and OMGosh.. SOOOO much fun!
For fun, so you can see a bit into my life since I am always giving glimpses into everyone elses… here are few shots of our family Thanksgiving. And yes, what family Thanksgiving is complete without a quick impromptu photo session in the front yard for Debbie’s family.. Since I was there and had my camera…
My cousin Monique and her family asked for a just a few shots for their holiday card… so we did a few… here are two since I don’t know which family one she is using on the card… I hate spoiling the holiday card!
